What's up Gridiot gang!! My name is Ryan Carolla, I am 39 years old, and live in Plum, PA. I am one of the Co-founders of Gridiots and couldn't be more excited to share our seasonings, stories and recipes. I am a father of three great little taste testers, Tyler (12), Jordin (8) and Connor (6) with my wife Kristen keeping everyone in line. I've always loved grilling and cooking outside but not until the past few years during the pandemic I was introduced to griddle cooking on a Blackstone.
Since getting one I haven't used my normal propane grill while cooking meals from breakfast lunch and dinner on the griddle. From there I purchased a smoker and now I'm fully hooked on all things BBQ. Cooking for family gatherings and parties gives me an outlet to show my BBQ skills while watching everyone enjoy a delicious meal!
